Hi,

I'm not sure but was wondering if this is the same Lathe as the Grizzly  G0602 10x22.

I have been tossing around the purchase of both Lathes for some time now,
how well is the Wt lathe built?

Thanks

Pete from Farmington MI

We can't tell for sure if they come out of the same factory, but if you compare pictures, there are some similarities......:D
Come on in and lay hands on it sometime;)

Forgot his was here. For the price it does everything I want. Turned 4 brls with it & very happy. Don, threading perfectly since you figured it out. One Q for you Don. The plastic gear that runs off the spindle gear. If it goes is there a replacement for it? Thanks, Ron

Don, I saw a thread somewhere that suggested the 11x26 lathe thread guidance provided on the machine was incorrect.  Is that true?  Do you have better guidance?

Thanks!

It's not that it is incorrect, the change gear set up is not detailed enough, it is discussed in the "newbe" thread.

It has worked great since Don figured out what I was doing wrong. I have made over a dozen AR 15 brls on it & no issues at all. Ron

Yes it is. I also have a Q. Is there a collet for my lathe that I can use with .980 - 1" round stock that will index the brl to a perfect center? Any info would be greatly apreciated, Ron

Andy,
I will order them from the manufacturer, are you down, or looking for spares?
I might need the SN off your machine to make sure we get the right parts.

I could use one of those plastic gears. LMK when you get them in.

Don,

I'm down for now. Cant continue threading until I replace these. I spun the keyed plastic gear because of an operator error :( Guess I overtightened the slack out the gear set and now realize that just meshing them is enough. How do I get the order placed? Thanks, ah

Ron,

Did you ever find anything to help you center up a barrel on your lathe. I have fought my 4 jaw for an hour before trying to find true center and have the barrel properly tensioned?

I have no problem centering up in the 4jaw chuck. Sometimes it takes a few minutes & sometimes a half hour. I was wondering if there was a collet that would make the whole process easyer & quicker. Thanks, Ron
