I have a 3 phase 200 volt 33 amp baldor compressor and a single phase service. What size convertor would I need.

IIRC, for a compressor, you will need a rotary converter. "33 amps" can vary in HP from around 6 to 8-1/2, depending upon the efficiency of the motor, is there a HP rating on the spec tag?
