Hello all. I have two questions.
1. Will part number 1701-0245 hold a work-piece that is 2.5" in diameter? I'm assuming it will because of the measurements.
2. Will part number 1701-0245 fit on a 9x20 lathe?
Please advise.

The 1701-0245 lists a capacity of 1-3/8", its outside dimensions are 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 2" (h)
You would need to go to #1701-0255 to hold 2-1/2" stock.
I am not sure how (or why) you would mount "v" blocks on a lathe?

thanks for your quick reply, Don. That part is out of my budget. I'll just have to stop being lazy and make it out of wood.
The v-blocks is to hold a 2.5" diameter work piece. I was going to use the lathe to drill off-center holes into the work by repositioning the work.
