Your tailstock should be Morse taper, our machine is a 2 MT, I cannot say what others are, to determine what yours is, look at this chart I posted in the toolbox forum: http://wttool.mywowbb.com/forum10/175.html Morse taper is a "self holding" taper used in lathes and drill presses and some low HP milling machines.
