I am considering offering products here before I list them on e-bay, these are Items that are generally new-old stock, that we closed out, sometimes several years ago, and we get the occasional distressed product. I would offer them here perhaps for a couple days, to give our members first pick of what I list.

I think that would be great.

I am very disappointed, I live in Farmington Hills Michigan and learned about WT on a forum researching a HF 8x12 lathe. To be honest I would rather spend my money with a Michigan company, I know most stuff is from china now days that can't be helped with NAFTA in place but I think local sales is still important.

Thanks for Reading

Where it's at? I wanna deal. ;)

Here's a story for ya, I've always wanted a big bore lathe. The store in Charlotte,NC has a 16x60 that's been sitting in the back with the carriage tore apart for at least 4 years now, but the ahole that runs the place refuses to give me a deal on it for some reason. I don't understand the logic of wttools, I say give a man a deal and get it the hell out of the door.  They have have all kinda machinery tore apart laying in the back of the store, but they laugh at you when you for a good deal to take it off their hands. They'd rather let it lay in the floor than to give a customer a deal. Can you explain the logic to me? Is this a company policy or something?

I'd like to Don, but I'll be at my mountain home close to Boone,NC. all next week, it's a 2-2.5 hr drive from there.  Kick Marty's a$$ for me while your there.:D That lathe is too nice to be sitting for the length of time it's been there. It needs to be in somebody's shop making the place look good.:D  It's really an impressive (big bore) machine to be sitting in parts. Thanks for giving it life again.  If ya got the parts it can be fixed in an hour, just the cross slide and compound slide need to be reassembled. Most of the parts seem to be there. It's still sitting on the shipping skid, all the accessories are with it. Then again it could have been slightly damaged during shipping. Pull it out of the back, wipe it off and put it in the front of the store, and that baby will sell in no time.  A 16x60 big bore is the perfect size for doing most anything, it's no wimp. :)
